The UK Can Do It
What she said:
"I think it's important that people understand the sorts of values and sorts of standards that we have here, the fact that it's a privilege to come and the sort of things that mean you won't be welcome in this country," Smith told Britain's GMTV.
"Coming to this country is a privilege," she said. "If you can't live by the rules that we live by, the standards and the values that we live by, we should exclude you from this country and, what's more, now we will make public those people that we have excluded."
I don't fully agree with her exclusions but her reasoning is sound. Instead of making special rules for everyone and their culture, she has clearly declared that if you come to Britain you should follow their rules or else. I would like the same standard to be leveled here.
We have been so busy bowing to the whims of those who come here. How many times have you heard that that is there culture and we need to be more understanding when we are talking about things on American soil?
Coming to this country is a privilege. If you can't live by the rules that we live by, the standards and the values that we live by, we should exclude you from this country.
Here is a standard of Europe that I welcome to America.
