What Does Healthcare Really Cost?
The third party system has everything so confused that people don't have a clue what anything really costs. If you don't know the cost how can you implement cost controls? I have discussed before the problems with third party payer systems.
Understanding The Healthcare Debate
This video does a great job of demonstrating the point.
H/T to Left Coast Rebel for pointing out this video.

Since WWII, and partly at the insistance of union activity, health care has ceased to participate in the free market system.
The result has been ever rising medical costs.
There has also been a great deal of technical progress in health care paid for by those "other" people.
The road out of the mess is NOT government sponsored or government supported health care, but is a gradual and systematic return to the free market.
I really like Stossell. He at least tries to apply logic to issues.
I really liked this video and linked to it and you today.
