More, What We Believe!

Drop down the page a couple posts and you will see, What We Believe, a post with three videos. Here is a fourth video to add to the collection. Each stands well on its own but together they define a framework that made America great.

Not understanding these key principals has lead to the chaos and economic plight we now suffer from. Once again, Bill Whittle finds the words to make the clearest case so all of us can understand. I have found myself in this very conversation recently fumbling for clarity of words so well spoken right here.

If you skipped the video and just read on, you have lost much. Take ten minutes and gain over two centuries of knowledge on law. You wont be disappointed and may even be a little excited. Those things you have understood and known to be true are clearly brought forth by a talented speaker.

Thanks Joe for pointing this out while we have been so busy looking at other things.

What We Believe

I really enjoyed this series of videos. Stop and spend a while, watch and enjoy. There is a lot of good stuff to be found here.

There is some great stuff in there. It took about 30 minutes to watch them. It was worth it. Come back and take it in chunks. Perhaps this cleared up a few things for you? Share your thoughts and ideas in the comments section.

Speaking Out

In the last 100 years the government of the United States has taken many steps to remove or reduce our rights as citizens. An example of this is found in the following article:

Pastors to defy IRS with endorsements

Two Minnesota clergymen plan to thumb their noses at the federal government Sunday by endorsing political candidates from their pulpits.

In doing so, they hope the IRS will come after them, allowing them to wage a legal fight asserting their First Amendment right of freedom of speech.

To make sure we are perfectly clear. Here is the First Amendment.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

It seems quite clear that the government has violated this primary law in establishing any restrictions on the church. The ability to speak on all matters of religion and belief may freely stray over political issues. Just because someone should call them political does not remove them from the right as written in the first Amendment.

The key legal issue in question is the Johnson Amendment of 1954. This was placed into the IRS code without the standard scrutiny of congress. It was attached to the 501c(3) rules governing the tax exemption of churches. The law was very specifically written to muzzle the church at the time.

This law was born out of the idea promoted by the use of the phrase: “Separation of Church and State” — This phrase was completely foreign to US law until 1947 in the case of Everson -vs- Board of Education. Without citing a single precedent, and ignoring 175 years of historically consistent rulings, the Supreme Court made this claim, “The wall of separation between church and state must be kept high and impregnable.” With that single decision based on nothing, the wall was born.

Where did they get this phrase? It wasn't found in the constitution. It was found in a personal letter written by Thomas Jefferson to a church. He was attempting to relieve fears that the government would have any influence over the church under the constitution. This is where he coined the phrase "Separation of Church and State".

From 1947 when the phrase became adopted by the Supreme Court, until 1954 we see the phrase turned on its head by liberal progressives and used in many places. Rather then the separation being one way as described by Jefferson, it has been twisted to be used in both directions and ultimately in the opposite direction from its intention.

The Johnson Amendment perpetuates a system that requires government agents to monitor and parse the words of a pastor's sermon to determine whether that sermon violates the law and punishment should be meted out. That system is an excessive and unreasonable government entanglement with religion. The Johnson Amendment allows the government to determine when a pastor's speech becomes too "political." That is an absurdly ridiculous standard. A pastor's speech from the pulpit that talks about candidates from a scriptural point of view is religious speech.

The government once small and carefully crafted by our founders has taken power from the people in small incremented ways. We need to recognize this usurpation and stop it. We can start this November by removing heavily entrenched members of congress from office. We need constitutional patriots to take their place and start the hard work.

Minority Leadership

Usually the majority sets the direction of any group. We have all been there.
"Raise your had if you want A. Raise your hand if you want B? The majority carries the vote"

This scenario has played out from youth to adulthood. Over the last several years the minority has carried the vote by using distorted language or sympathy ploys. That's right. They are a minority. Power comes by pitting the majority against itself with petty issues. You attempt to break it up into smaller and smaller groups until you are the majority.

Once again liberals abuse language to change it and pervert it. They whittle down our culture with language. They work to destroy all areas of unity so that their minority can be greater in all areas of control.

If we are going to act as the majority and defeat the minority that is tearing apart are nation, then we need to start recognizing and working with areas of agreement. Let's remove the political markers and look at issues only.

Thousands of Americans were asked and answered questions in multiple surveys. The information was tallied and the shape of the majority has been determined. Let us embrace these points and unite to save America.
(The point will be followed by a percentage of those for and against.)

There are values which unite a large majority of Americans. (86 to 10)

We want to strengthen and revitalize America’s core values. (80 to 9)

Government clearly has to change the way it operates and bring in ideas and systems currently employed in the private sector to increase productivity and effectiveness. (74 to 16)

The changes we need in government have to occur in all 513,000 elected offices throughout the country and cannot be achieved by focusing only on Washington. (84 to 12)

English should be the official language of government. (87 to 11)

All election ballots and other government documents should be printed in English.
(74 to 23)

New immigrants should be required to learn English. (83 to 17)

Businesses should be able to require employees to speak the English language while on the job. (80 to 17)

Every worker should continue to have the right to a federally supervised secret ballot election when deciding whether to organize a union. (79 to 12)

It is important to have references to God in the Pledge of Allegiance and the Declaration of Independence — that we are endowed by our Creator with the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness — because they make clear that certain rights can’t be taken away by government. (84 to 13)

Statements regarding religion and morality made by the Founding Fathers are just as important today as they were 200 years ago. (86 to 12)

We reject the idea that the times change and the language in the Pledge of Allegiance and the Declaration of Independence must change with the times. The language in the Pledge and the Declaration are very important and must be protected. (86 to 12)

The American people believe border control is a security issue. Terrorists are trying to enter the United States illegally. (86 to 12)

Illegal immigrants who commit felonies should be deported. (88 to 10)

When applying for a temporary worker visa each worker should take an oath to obey American law and be deported if they commit a crime while in the United States. (93 to 8)

In a worker visa program each worker will receive a tamper-proof identification card that will allow the government to track him or her. (89 to 11)

No company should market services such as credit cards or bank accounts specifically to people who are in the United States illegally. (78 to 18)

There should be heavy monetary fines against employers and businesses who knowingly hire illegal immigrants. (78 to 20)

We have an obligation to be good stewards of God’s creation for future generations. (95 to 3)

We can solve our environmental problems faster and cheaper with innovation and new technology than with more litigation and more government regulation. (79 to 15)

Climate change and global warming are probably happening. (82 to 13)

We should hold city governments to the same standards for cleaning waste water as are applied to private industry. (91 to 5)

The option of a single rate system should give taxpayers the convenience of filing their taxes with just a single sheet of paper. (82 to 15)

The current Social Security systems is broken and, if it isn’t reformed, future generations will no longer have it as a safety net for retirement. (80 to 19)

Separation between Church and State does not mean there can be no references to God in government sanctioned activities or public buildings. (81 to 16)

We reject banning all prayer in public schools. (82 to 16)

The Founding Fathers understood that religion and morality were important to creating and building this country and talked about it regularly. This was understood throughout American history and is central to America’s success today. We reject those who say that just because America has a 200 year history of religion in government doesn’t make it right. We reject that this violates the U.S. Constitution and discriminates against those who are of other faiths or are not religious. (79 to 17)

America should take the threat of terror by fanatical religious groups more seriously. (83 to 13)

Iran poses a serious threat to the United States. (85 to 14)

There are so many more areas where we have a majority, but let us start by rallying around these. Let us not be separated anymore. Stand tall knowing that there are more who stand with you then against you. Join Tea Party groups and take personal interest in local actions. The smallest changes can add up to a complete change.

Carefully, with great calculation, the Communists gauge their aggression -- slicing each new gain just thin enough so that we'll say, "That isn't worth fighting for." They predict that when we reach the final slice our surrender will be voluntary because we will have been weakened from within -- Morally, Spiritually, and Economically. -- Ronald Reagen

It must stop now. We can't afford another slice. We can't wait any longer. I write my representatives weekly. I comment on their forums. I work to change the perspective of those I come into contact with each day. I often point to what we have in common to build on returning our nation to prominence. Don't allow subtle changes in language to pervert or convert what our nation is supposed to be.

What will you do to strengthen our nation and take it back from the minority who seeks our destruction?

The Doctors Don't Like It

I reported to you long ago that the doctors don't like this plan. Well the doctors are making their opinion loud and clear. Perhaps a lawsuit straight from those who's lives are going to be changed dramatically by a stroke of the pen.

Medical Society Files Lawsuit to Block Health Care Overhaul

First, do no harm. Second, sue the government.

With the president's ink barely dry on the health care overhaul's final fixes, a group of nearly 5,000 American physicians is filing suit to stop the mammoth new law dead in its tracks.

"I think this bill that passed threatens not only to destroy our freedom in medicine but to bankrupt the country," said Dr. Jane Orient, executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.

The Arizona-based medical coalition filed suit on March 26, arguing that congressional reforms illegally coerce individuals into buying insurance from private companies.

Starting in 2014, anyone who chooses not to buy health insurance faces a small federal penalty, but in 2016 the fine jumps to $695 a year per person or 2.5 percent of overall income, whichever is greater. That means that anyone earning more than $27,800 would be subject to increasing penalties, with a maximum fine of $2,085 per family.

Supporters of the law call it a simple tax meant to shore up coverage nationwide; but the AAPS says the mandate is an "unprecedented overreach" — an unconstitutional grab that rewards insurance companies and allows the federal government to seize private property in violation of the 5th Amendment.

Insurers "will have millions of new, unwilling customers that they wouldn't have gotten," said Orient, an internist based in Tuscon. "They're counting on getting all this new money."

Though legal challenges to the new law are popping up nationwide, the conservative-leaning AAPS is the only medical society to file suit against the health care package. The American Medical Association, the largest physicians' group in the U.S., supported the health care overhaul and lobbied on its behalf.

Orient says she hopes more groups will join her suit, and predicts a shortage of doctors as the medical community adjusts to the new law.

"We need to get back to the old-fashioned style of medicine where doctors worked for their patients and patients paid their doctors," she said.

Link

We have only just begun to reap the nightmares that will come with the implementation of this healthcare bill. Nothing has been done to lower the cost, which is what Americans really needed. Plenty has been done to raise the cost Now they plan on taking more and penalizing you if you don't buy what they are selling. We can still get this bill stopped. We need to boot out of office everyone who forced this horrible bill upon us. Start preparing for elections and supporting real conservative candidates.

Is The Light On

Seems we have forgotten what makes this country different and ultimately great. We are a nation of laws. Every law is a building block that secures and upholds our nation.

While other nations are nations of men. Whoever is in power, determines the direction the wind blows. There is never a moment of security or consistency to base an economy on and corruption is normal business of state.

Once the foot size of the new king changed the standards of everything in a nation. What they liked and didn't like dictated what was bought, sold and raised. Many nations still function under a government system that mimics these kinds of crazy changes. If that wasn't bad enough, the greed that consumes some in power often reduces a nation to ruin.

This lack of understanding of what makes our nation great, makes so called do-gooders think ignoring a law here and there will make things better. Instead we water down what makes the country great and serve to make it what all the other nations are. The very compassion they are so proud of serves to destroy the only hope and security that is longed for.

Some come to get what we have but fail to recognize the true essence of our greatness. We are not great because of the dollar, it is only a symptom of why we are great. We are not great because of our many universities and tech schools, who help us on our quest for knowledge. We are not great because of our technology, it only serves to strengthen our ideas. We have achieved greatness through consistent laws that secure freedom. The laws have been laid down one by one each securely anchored to the constitution that serves as the bedrock to the entire structure.

Freedom, secured by our constitution and Bill of Rights, gave every individual opportunity to dream and to set a path aimed at securing that dream. Freedom offers everyone the opportunity to succeed of fail and reap what ever comes of those choices. Greatness came by individuals taking risks in their pursuit of happiness.

If we wish to stay free, we need to shake off nannyism. The weight of government will suppress freedom. Government intervention and regulation has robbed us of much of our freedom. The choices of a free person have been constantly reduced with good intentions. Their desire to help has slowly squashed the life out of those they seek to save.

America is slipping to third world status before our eyes, and those who we have chosen to represent us, have no idea what this nation stands for or is about. We are the beacon on the hill but the light is growing ever dimmer.

I Found A Need For Regulation

According to the American Bar Association, there were 1,128,729 resident and active attorneys in the United States in 2006 and 1,143,358 in 2007. In 2007 the population of the USA was 302.2 million people. That would be 264.3 people per attorney in the US. If we look at physicians we would find 370.4 people per doctor in the US. Now which would you say needed to be regulated. Seems we never have enough doctors but we have a severe over supply of attorneys.
When was the last time you saw an ad for a doctors office. You know, they just don't have enough patients so they are running ads trying to drum up business. On the other hand, I see ads for attorneys all the time.
So the question is, How many attorneys would be enough? The courts are currently back logged with cases. If attorneys weren't so accessible, perhaps fewer cases would go to court. Perhaps more deals would be worked out among the individuals involved. Perhaps, people's word would have value again.

Attorneys create no product that adds value to society. They simply take something from someone else and then give you part of it. Sometimes they inject others into the system adding to the cost of the event, but reducing the value of the out come.
Now I don't want you to think that we don't need attorneys, because they do help create a channel of communication and restitution when real harm or personal advocacy is necessary. In heated discussions a third party can often bring a resolution to the forefront.
So how many should it take to do that? Do you think one per thousand people would be enough?

To My Congress Critters and Acting President:
Let me make a suggestion here. Push those huge piles of Health Reform Bills aside and create a bill that regulates attorneys. You may be surprised at how fast this could actually fix both problems.

The Birth of a Nation

We celebrated the birth of the United States of America this weekend. The celebrations were much less this year. City festivals and fireworks displays were almost non-existent in my area. Individuals set out to do it right, with no help from the government I might add.
I shot a wedding on the evening of the 4th then buzzed across town to enjoy a few fireworks. Here is a small glimpse of what I saw.
I love this nation! I love the founders dream for this nation! The beauty of the Declaration of Independence and the resulting triumph of our constitution. Yeah, we had some flaws. We had to right how blacks and women were treated by the law. The key thing is we could and we did.

Two Inspector Generals?

It looks like Obama is cleaning house. He and his administration are doing everything possible to protect themselves and their corruption. Anyone who dares point to a fault or illegal act performed by a friend or financier of the Obama Machine, will be punished.

Check out this Article:

Senator asks about firings of watchdogs

Removal of 2 inspectors general prompts questions

WASHINGTON - -- He was appointed with fanfare as the public watchdog over the government's multi-billion dollar bailout of the nation's financial system. But now Neil Barofsky is embroiled in a dispute with the Obama administration that delayed one recent inquiry and sparked questions about his ability to freely investigate.

The disagreement stems from a claim by the Treasury Department that Barofsky is not entirely independent of the agency he is assigned to examine ¿ a claim that has prompted a stern letter from a Republican senator warning that agency officials are encroaching on the integrity of an office created to protect taxpayers.

Sen. Charles Grassley, R- Iowa, sent the letter Wednesday to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner demanding information about a "dispute over certain Treasury documents" that he said were being "withheld" from Barofsky's office on a "specious claim of attorney-client privilege."

A White House spokesman declined to comment, referring questions to the Treasury Department. Treasury spokesman Andrew Williams said late Wednesday that the agency would read Grassley's letter and respond to the senator before any public comment.

The dispute comes as Grassley, ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, is looking into the abrupt firings within the last week of two other inspectors general ¿ one of whom was fired by the White House and the other by the chair of the International Trade Commission.

Both inspectors general had investigated sensitive subjects at the time of their firings.

The article takes note of the similarities to Water Gate. Once again will the congress act or continue to bow to the king?

The Letter of a Patriot.

I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me?

Well, these are briefly my views and issues for which I seek representation:

One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why ‑‑ what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band‑Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try ‑‑ please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.

Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let's just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work , pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when hewill rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you. If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.

Yes, this is the letter read on Glenn Beck's program. This is required reading America. This also Requires action! I and many I know have repeated these very thoughts over the past couple of years. The time for words without action has ended. It is time to stand up and be heard. It is time to push those who don't represent the people and our great constitution, out of DC.

Here is a petition that I signed and if you agree with what is written above, then you should sign it too.

Is This an Impeachable Offense?

I was just reading this article, and had to ask.

Obama fires watchdog who barked at his crony

By Drew Zahn

Former Inspector General Gerald Walpin filed two reports exposing gross misappropriation of federal AmeriCorps funds by a prominent Barack Obama supporter and was shortly thereafter fired by the White House, circumstances he told WND are likely linked and others have called an outright illegal action by the administration.

"I think you have to look at the facts and the circumstances and reach your conclusions," Walpin said in a WND interview. "I will tell you that [my firing] came only after we had issued those two reports to Congress, and I don't think that's a coincidence."

Further, Walpin said, "I am convinced that I and my office are not guilty of any impropriety. In essence, I was fired for doing my job."

Independent, federal inspectors general are supposed to be granted special protection from political interference – thanks in part to a law co-sponsored by the then-Senator Barack Obama – to ensure that they are free to investigate waste and fraud uninfluenced by political cronyism.

But after Walpin dared to push for action against the St. HOPE Academy program – run by Obama supporter and former NBA star Kevin Johnson – which had misappropriated hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal AmeriCorps funds, he nonetheless found himself fired by the White House under circumstances that have led some to wonder if Obama has violated his own co-sponsored law in retaliation.

Read the rest if you wish.

I realize we have a less then appropriate congress for handling such a matter as this, but could it be possible? The devil is in the details. If we have people in office that follow their oath and apply the law and the constitution to the issue in question then they must impeach. If instead we have a bunch of elitists who are above the law, then we as a nation have a major problem.

This could snowball the eligibility issue and make for a very difficult time in US history.

The Word IS Getting Out

City after City, Community after Community are doing what our federal government won't do, protect American Jobs. Many are passing laws that deny or penalize those who would hire illegals. The most significant part is the courts are ruling in the communities favor.

St. Louis suburb's immigration law upheld

ST. LOUIS | A federal appeals panel has upheld a suburban St. Louis town's ordinance prohibiting the hiring of illegal immigrants, a case that some observers believe could have national implications.

A three-judge panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday unanimously affirmed a lower court's ruling in favor of the city of Valley Park.

Similar cases have been heard around the country. Last year, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld an Arizona state law that also bars the hiring of illegal immigrants. Meanwhile, the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia is weighing a similar case out of Hazleton, Pa.

We may have to take the nation back one city at a time. So far we are we are taking ground and setting legal presidents.

The Gun Grabbing Veil has been Lifted

The goal is to rid the world of all Nuclear weapons, says Obama. This theory is constantly applied to gun bans, only to result in the bloodshed of law abiding citizens. When you ban something or seek to remove it, do you solve the problem?
Look, the cat is out of the bag, when it comes to nuclear weapons. We just went round and round with North Korea trying to get them to disarm. Does anyone feel 100% secure in the fact that they are telling us they no longer have any nuclear weapons? How are you going to prove it or enforce it?
The only real way to get people to step away from nuclear weapons it to discover something more terrifying. Right now nuclear is the ultimate weapon and everyone wants to feel big and powerful. Every two cent dictator wants to be big and important. Most of them already have a use in mind for such a wonderful weapon. No matter what the liberal says, the use isn't for a deterrent. Pres. DinerJacket over in Iran will tell you straight up what he intends to do with it.

Once we get all the commotion going it is a simple step to replace the words Nuclear Weapons with guns. They will all jump on it like it was handed down from Mt. Sinai.
Removing a weapon does not remove the aggression that pushes someone to kill another. It simply reduces the choices as to how. Does anyone remember how limited the killing was before the invention of gun powder? Generally, with each progression in the art of weaponry comes greater peace.
Good men want to distance themselves from death and only choose it as a last resort. Look at the progression of weapons; contact, close contact, arms reach, arms throw, arms sling, mechanical sling, propulsion, .....

Each level of weapon has established a deterrent and security for those who had them. Tell the president that we don't want to be vulnerable to dictators and criminals. While your at it, remind him that your weapons are off limits as well.

Supreme Failure

Once again the Supreme Court demonstrates its liberal failings and its willingness to depart from it constitutional duties. The basic duty of the Supreme Court is to use the constitution and over 200 years of legal precedence to determine the legality of anything brought before it. In fairness all arguments brought before it should be well versed in law established in US courts. Yet, we see foreign law and tendencies being used as arguments.
The Court is bound under oath to seek out Constitution and American law as the soul source of its decision. It is not to use whim or fancy nor any desire of the heart as a remedy to judgment. Yet, we see just that being used in this case.
Precedence has clearly been established in the 1950 case Johnson v. Eisentrager, in which the Court ruled that non-citizen enemies had no access to U.S. courts in wartime and that when captured and imprisoned abroad, they had no right to a writ of habeas corpus in a U.S. court.

While those of us who understand the consequences of law as well as the consequences of verdict find this unbelievable the more liberal "Not My Fault" crowd are cheering in the streets. They see this as a slam against the much hated Bush and have no clear understanding of the consequences that will now come to this nation. There single minded hate will surely destroy the great nation I love.

Ponder this, many of the nations of those who are held at Gitmo don't want them back. If our court, under the rules of habeas corpus, if they must be released then the US would be their place of freedom. Are you willing to have the hardened of Gitmo released on downtown America and fully freed to carry out the actions of their heart? The court is about to fulfill the dreams of the terrorists and yet the left cheers.

The Language Rewriter's Score Again

and Society takes a huge fall.

Everyone is talking about it. You can't help but get caught up in the chaos that has now ensued thanks to the California Supreme Court.

For thousands of years Marriage has been understood to be a union between a man and a woman. It has only been in the last fifty or so years that any question has risen over the issue. Over this same period of time the erosion of language and values has gotten us to half buy into this idea. The definition and understanding of words is the very thing that holds society together. To be able to clearly speak so that real meaning and understanding can occur between parties is what makes civilization possible. In the last decade or so this fabric has been torn apart.

That really depends of what the definition of "is" is.

As words and their clarity are watered down or simply broken society is damaged. It was less then 100 years ago that two people could come together with a hand shake and conduct business without question as to ones obligation to the other. Now it takes a team of lawyers and a crate of paper to come to a simple agreement, that probably wont hold up in court because the definition of one or more of the words could have been misunderstood. This erosion of language further sets back mankind.

Some would erroneously say it is only one word, but it is more than a simple word. It is a hinge pin that defines society for thousands of years. It is a measuring stick that all other contracts can be based against. It apparently hasn't been enough that marriage has been cut by over 50% through the promotion of divorce and self gratification strategies. Now it must further be under cut by the very parts of assembly that have made it what it has always been.

Let us not forget the multitudes of other institutions that have set marriage as the highest order. We see the many who scoff at these long standing pillars of society now dancing in the streets. It is not the word but the vast sweep of casualties that have been taken by the sword swipe of this decision; Religion, Tradition, Family, etc..... No terrorist act could do as much damage as this decision made by four people who have chosen to dishonor billions of people throughout the centuries.

Why post links? It is impossible to not find it.

THE BASIS FOR A STRONG NATION

My fellow Blogger over at Right Truth has got a great piece up that you need to read. It is high time we take a look at this nation without the political correctness bent.

THE BASIS FOR A STRONG NATION

1. A Return to American basics
Change. It is a descriptive bantered about as if it were a pagan idol newly minted from gold. It is heralded as a portent of our nation’s future; a representative of fresh ideas and long-awaited opportunities. Those who espouse its conjuring implore us to recognize all that’s bad with our nation and its people. Yet, America is the epitome of change – and always has been. Our nation was the first to demand the inalienable rights of the individual and fight wholeheartedly for them. Our nation was the first republic created solely from a menagerie of non-indigenous peoples. America, the much maligned target of seemingly an entire planet, is the only nation on earth that’s come to the rescue of the others and not hang around as a despotic land-grabber. Our people – the very essence of America itself – are the most compassionate and generous people ever known to grace God’s good earth.

The Method for Changing America

I have just read the most incredible document. I copied it to my computer. I printed out multiple copies. I plan on directing other people to it on the web as well as handing out copies to those I come in contact with.

This document will change America. I don't mean that false change, where you say what ever you have to to get elected. I'm talking real change.

The first thing this document does is confirm that we conservatives are not as alone as the media would have us believe. It actually tells you the percentage of those who agree and disagree with each statement, Line-By-Line. You don't have to wonder if a majority will back the idea, you know it immediately. My feelings of political isolation were fully removed after reading this Document.

Second, this document provides us with a focus point for instructing and making change across our nation. We can use it as a rally point that will unite and draw us as a nation closer. We can use it to define direction and establish clear policy in what has become a very muddy, divisive, self serving government. It can be restored through these words.

The Invasion Is Real

Special Thanks to Debbie at Right Truth for pointing this out.

We are being invaded and our leaders are doing nothing. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Nancy Polosi was telling us how wrong we are to build a fence on our border. She is partially right, we don't need a fence we need a mine field and a military presence. I am good with automated chain guns.

How To Deal With Illegals

What congress should do and what they are trying to do is quite different. The American people time and time again have told them they don't want amnesty or any other illegal incentive program. We wont the immigration law upheld that is already on the books. We want the Job Magnet shut off, and we want security restored to our nation.

Here is a great article that brings it to a ten point program that even our leaders can follow. Look it over carefully and then forward it to your Senator. They could use all the hints they can get.

#1) We must pursue enforcement first
#2) We need to build the fence
#3) We need to fully staff our border patrol
#4) We need to fully staff Citizenship and Immigration Services
#5)We need an exit visa program
#6) We need to take away the "jobs magnet"
#7) No more anchor babies
#8) We need to put an end to sanctuary cities and drivers’ licenses for illegal aliens
#9) Refuse to allow anyone caught in the United States illegally to ever become a citizen or return for any reason
#10) End catch and release

These Sound like the right Ten step course to saving America.

I have written many articles on this subject.
