The Method for Changing America

I have just read the most incredible document. I copied it to my computer. I printed out multiple copies. I plan on directing other people to it on the web as well as handing out copies to those I come in contact with.

This document will change America. I don't mean that false change, where you say what ever you have to to get elected. I'm talking real change.

The first thing this document does is confirm that we conservatives are not as alone as the media would have us believe. It actually tells you the percentage of those who agree and disagree with each statement, Line-By-Line. You don't have to wonder if a majority will back the idea, you know it immediately. My feelings of political isolation were fully removed after reading this Document.

Second, this document provides us with a focus point for instructing and making change across our nation. We can use it as a rally point that will unite and draw us as a nation closer. We can use it to define direction and establish clear policy in what has become a very muddy, divisive, self serving government. It can be restored through these words.

Go here now and read: The Platform Of The American People

Chinese - Marketing Death

The makers of goods to export out of China are starting to fall on hard times. The world is starting to turn from imported goods made in China. We have seen toxic dog food, toys that break apart and become a choke hazard, Infant toys painted with lead and hitting the news today, poison dumplings in Japan.
China is starting to loose business from its two largest buyers, the United States and Japan. Both countries are taking a much harder stand on inspections. More products have been turned away that were made in China, than any other country. This has serious consequences to both the seller and the buyer.
There are those conspiracy buffs who see this as a stealth war against western powers. A slow take down of those who will most likely stand in there way in the future.
Others see this as a fledgling competitor on the world market simply moving too fast in order to gain a stake at the worlds retail tables.
No matter which theory you prescribe to, where does the line get drawn? Do we ban or reduce all imports from this nation demanding verifiable testing and processing to ensure safety? We keep hearing about the global economy and how important each country is to the world economy, but does that trump safety? When will we put our foot down and demand safety above profit?
Each of these questions need answers, and I don't see our political leaders moving forward on these issues. I know they are all busy running election campaigns, but aren't we paying them to do a job? The safety of each and every American is part of their sworn oath to uphold. We better be getting their attention and generating some action before it is too late.

Until then, Let The Buyer Beware!

What's the Difference?

If McCain wins the nomination on the Republican Ticket and Clinton wins the nomination on the Democratic Ticket, would their be any difference? Look over their congressional voting records and you will find almost a mirror image.
A presidential debate would look like a slap fest of high fives. "You were right on with that one Senator, you voted the same as me." There would be no meaningful debate and the people of America would be taken advantage of again. The only difference this time is the scale and scope of the loss we would suffer.
Amnesty would be automatic. America as a Majority said NO but both of these candidates said yes. The day their nomination is announce will be the end of our sovereign nation.
They both love the Free Trade mantra that is dissolving jobs form our country at record rates. They both want to unify the North American continent and dissolve all remnants of nationhood.
Spending limits would be a joke. Americans have deep pockets, look at all the money they give away. The government can easily take more. Besides better coordinated efforts could be directed under a national banner (gag).
Listen people unless you want what is laid out above, you better get with the program. We can either put up a fight and demand true representation by our elected leaders, or roll over and take the punishment.
I intend to fight.

Hang Onto Your Wallets

Another government stimulus package is coming our way. I realize the economy is starting to sag and may need some propping up, but how are we going to pay for this?
The government has only three ways to get money; Tax, Borrow and Save.

If the government raises Taxes to pay for this program, it will stimulate a faster fall and a bigger problem. Taxing always tightens up the economy and increases unemployment. In my article "Tax or Not To Tax", I layout the forced effect of increased expenses on business. These effects hurt the nation and the individual. So Taxes are not the Answer.

If the government Borrows the money, we are simply pushing the debt onto a future generation with additional expenses for interest and inflation. As bad as that sounds, it gets worse because borrowing also effects our relationship with trade partners. Borrowing reduces the value of the dollar in the world market. We suddenly have to pay more for everything not produced inside our borders.
Now I know some of you would like to see us turn our backs on trade and start looking at home grown products. I don't blame you for this protectionist perspective, but home grown products are not going to suddenly appear over night. Industry has slowly migrated from our shores over decades. It will be a lengthy process to bring this home. In the mean while we will be paying more and getting less.

If the government Saves the money by eliminating or cutting some of the things it buys with our tax dollars, then it would truly stimulate the economy with no ill effect on the whole. Those cuts, what ever they may be, will have an effect on a small sampling of our nation. I find it far better to lose a small part of the body then allow the entire body to fail.
Perhaps we can choose to cut international "Good Will", "Buy A Friend" foreign give aways. Let's start with Cutting the vast sums of money we put into the UN. How about cutting all gifts to non democratic nations? What about dropping all direct cash aide and only offering specific destination driven supply aide? Perhaps at home we can stop congress from bringing home the bacon in the form of pork barrel spending?

I'm afraid that this rush to save the day will result in another fire sale where we borrow and give our nation away so that future generations can reap greater consequences for our lack of responsibility.

Another Sad Day in America as we pave the road to Hell with good intentions.

Getting the Dirt On Your Neighbors

This may be a really bad thing for you. The next global crisis that will surpass the current fad of Global Warming will be Earthly Erosion. They might need to work on a catchier name, but the crisis is coming. Is your dirt going to your neighbor or down the drain?

According to this article, we are loosing soil far faster then it can be made. Much of the loss comes from poor agricultural practices. We also loose soil by paving over it and sealing it in.

Soil is a living breathing entity that is vital to our survival. Over the last decade more and more is being done to combat erosion. Water and wind tend to be the biggest players in soil loss. We humans come along and do things to increase this destruction. We strip the land of the anchoring vegetation and expose the soil to the full wrath of mother-nature.

We can do more to protect against this but I am sure there is some big promotional outfit out there preparing the campaign in order to draw on the next financial frenzy.

Illegals Must Go

The Government of Libya has decided that all illegals will be deported. The country can no longer afford to have its own citizens shut out of the labor pool by cheep illegal labor.

I'm Not Kidding. You can read about it here.

If Libya can do it, why can't we. Our citizens are being forced out of work and our crime rate is way up.

It is pretty sad when the country of Libya has to show us, how it is done.

They Did It!

Finally, after years of anticipation and aggravation the battery has evolved. Most of the electronic world has been held back by battery technology. Solving this one key will change the world of energy and alternative energy. No other single issue could do what this will do.
Anything that has been held down or discouraged in growth by the weight and size of its battery can now be set free. Even the Electric Car is now a likely alternative because of this one innovation. The article I am about to point you to is so humble they simply point to the laptop battery jumping form 4 hours to 40 hours.
Read this article and then start to dream.

If a battery can supply 10 times the life, a battery could potentially be one tenth the size as well. Think of the weight reduction or longevity that could change the space program, the computer industry, the auto industry, the (you name the need for electricity) industry.

Taking America Back

We need to stir up America and get this nation back on track. We need to call radio shows, write letters, and speak freely. Our opinion counts and we need it to count big.The media is doing all they can to tear down and brain wash Americans into becoming the next socialist republic and we need to put the brakes on. We need to bark out an "About Face" and get this nation back in line.
Let’s stop wasting more cyber-space on candidates and start pounding the issues. It really doesn’t matter who the Democins or Republicrats place in office, we need to get the people of the US of A setting the agenda. That must start NOW!

The first and most Important Issue is the border. The illegals running amok across this nation lends to almost every other issue. Some issues would totally fix themselves once the illegal problem is gone.
The War On Terror is the next big issue. To fix that, we need to stop scolding Israel and make them play nice and let them do what needs doing. We need to stop worrying about public opinion and start fighting it like a war. People Die In War. The Goal is for more of the enemy's kin to die then our own.
The next issue is Spending and Taxation. We need the government to Spend Less and Tax Less. We need a candidate who is willing to fully clean house when it comes to spending programs. Fixing the illegal issue will free up a sizable sum of cash making this very doable. Fix the Tax Issue by making the cuts permanent. I can suggest a few more cuts but I would be happy if we got this.

This isn't anything new or special, these have been the problems with America for years. We can trace our border problems back decade after decade with band-aides at best by even great presidents. I have shown in "I had Forgotten. Didn't You" that our fight with radical Islam has been going on for hundreds of years. You would be hard pressed to find an empty pork barrel in any session of congress for the last hundred years.

We the American People can stop this. We just need to wake up and realize that we are in charge. It says so in our constitution. Everyone is so busy trying to protect their individual rights we have allowed our group rights to be stolen. It is Time to Take America Back.

The above post is a combination of both new and old material I have placed on other sites around the net. You may visit these locations by following the attached links.

Change What?

Everyone seems to be running around yelling "Change". For the vast political spectrum this has an equally vast array of meaning. Generally, we place it on a continuum of Left and Right, but the real effect on the nation seems to be lost in the commonness of the words. Only recently have I heard people actually ask what change. Of course no one is asking the candidates. Every interview I have seen or heard avoids all the substance and focuses on fluff. Today Mrs. Clinton was asked would she rather sing or dance? What is a serious candidate even doing on a creme puff show like that?
We are going to have to get some real answers, and soon. This country deserves a real and viable choice. All the candidates that are contending for votes need to start hammering out real positions.
Don't even use the word "Change" unless you plan on following it with "What"! We are getting sick and tired of the games People.

Articles of Interest:
Which is Broken, the Government or the People?
While Republican candidates are telling us that government is broken and the people need to fix it, Democrat candidates are telling us that the people are broken and need the government to fix it.

Political Change and Correctness Can Destroy America
2009 will start eight years of the following:
1. To maintain a nation under God or to continue to completely separate church and state, thus to maintain faith or
move to being a secularist nation;

2. To stay as a Republic or be converted to a European-type

3. To keep Capitalism or accept Socialism;

4. Keep lower taxes with more jobs or higher taxes with fewer jobs available as a result.;

5. To have a Constructional
or a Legislative Supreme Court;

6. To continue our current emotional and political “Cultural War” or to, once again, unite as the true United States of America!

How you vote in 2008 will answer which of the above our next generation will inherit!

Grass or Corn

Making ethanol seems to be a big deal these days. We are getting all excited over bio fuels and alternative energy choices. I often just get mad at the fact that we don't use what we have right here. We have all sorts of viable options that could reduce our dependence on foreign fuels.
Let's talk ethanol. I personally am not a big fan of ethanol blends. They have a natural tendency to pick up stray Hydrogen bonds and create water in your fuel. Yet, ethanol as a fuel would be an excellent alternative. The question then is, what is the best route for getting the greatest yield for the least cost. I may have found your answer in a recent article put out by Scientific America.
Grass Makes Better Ethanol than Corn Does

PARENT - Job Description

This is hysterical. If it had been presented this way, I don't believe any of us would have done it!!!!

POSITION: Mom, Mommy, Mama, Ma, Dad, Daddy, Dada, Pa, Pop

Long term, team players needed, for challenging permanent work in an, often chaotic environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call. Some overnight travel required, including trips to primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in far away cities! Travel expenses not reimbursed. Extensive courier duties also required.

The rest of your life. Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs $5. Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly. Also, must possess the physical stamina of a pack mule and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat in case, this time, the screams from the backyard are not someone just crying wolf. Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges, such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets and stuck zippers. Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and coordinate production of multiple homework projects. Must be willing to sit down to help with homework that you never had in school. Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings for clients of all ages and mental outlooks. Must be willing to be indispensable one minute, an embarrassment the next. Must handle assembly and product safety testing of a half million cheap, plastic toys, and battery operated devices. Must always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst. Must assume final, complete accountability for the quality of the end product. Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and janitorial work throughout the facility.

Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating your skills, so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you.

None required, unfortunately. On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.

Get this: You pay them! Offering frequent raises and bonuses. A balloon payment is due when they turn 18 because of the assumption that college will help them become financially independent. When you die, you give them whatever is left. The oddest thing about this reverse-salary scheme is that you actually enjoy it and wish you could only do more.

While no health or dental insurance, no pension, no tuition reimbursement, no paid holidays and no stock options are offered; this job supplies limitless opportunities for personal growth, unconditional love, and free hugs and kisses for life if you play your cards right.

Pass this on to all the PARENTS you know, in appreciation for everything they do on a daily basis, letting them know they are appreciated for the fabulous job they do...or forward with love to anyone thinking of applying for the job.

Quotes That Need Dusting Off

In this time of political posturing we could use a little perspective.

"Politicians never accuse you of 'greed' for wanting other people's money --- only for wanting to keep your own money." [Joseph Sobran]

"America's abundance was created not by public sacrifices to 'the common good,' but by the productive genius of free men who pursued their own personal interests and the making of their own private fortunes. They did not starve the people to pay for America's industrialization. They gave the people better jobs, higher wages and cheaper goods with every new machine they invented, with every scientific discovery or technological advance -- and thus the whole country was moving forward and profiting, not suffering, every step of the way." [Ayn Rand]

"In general the art of government consists in taking as much money as possible from one class of citizens to give to the other." [Voltaire]

"The government consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can't get and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time is made good by looting A to satisfy B. In other words, government is a broker in pillage, and every election is sort of an advance auction sale of stolen goods."[H. L. Mencken]

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." [Samuel Adams]

"There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to runin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation of all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities." [Teddy Roosevelt in a speech before the Knights of Columbus]

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's great civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage." [ Alexander Tyler]

"Most people can't think, most of the remainder won't think, the small fraction who do think mostly can't do it very well. The extremely tiny fraction who think regularly, accurately, creatively, and without self-delusion- in the long run, these are the only people who count." [Robert Heinlein]

Primary Chaos

We have less than a handful of states Caucusing and panic has set into some of the candidates.
HELLO -- There are 50 states and we haven't even heard from a major contender. What is wrong with these people? Hillary was delaminating and anxiety levels in all the candidates are starting to go off the charts.

Listen, I want a candidate who can hold themselves together when the going gets tough. I want someone who can think clearly and make decisive decisions when it matters. We don't have time for real or token emotionalism when the chips are down. In the current War On Terror we may only have seconds to take out a target before they do harm to us.

Traitors Are Among Us

33 Senators Voted Against English as America's Official Language on June 6, 2007.
On Wed. 6 June 2007 23:35:23 - 0500 Colonel Harry Riley, USA, Ret.Wrote:

Your vote against an amendment to the immigration Bill make English America's official language is astounding. On D-Day, no less, when we honor those that sacrificed in order to secure the bedrock, character and principles of America, I can only surmise your vote reflects a loyalty to illegal aliens. I don't much care where you come from. What your religion is. Whether you're black, white, or some other color......male or female......Democrat, Republican or Independent....... But I do care when you are a United States Senator representing Citizens of America....and Vote against English as the official language of the United States.
Your vote reflects Betrayal. Political Surrender. Violates Your Pledge of Allegiance. Dishonors historical principle. Rejects Patriotism. Borders On traitorous action and, in my opinion, makes you unfit to serve as a United States Senator...impeachment... Recall........Or other appropriate action is warranted or worse.
Four of you voting against English as America's Official Language are Presidential Candidates: Senator Biden, Senator Clinton, Senator Dodd and Senator Obama.
Four Senators vying to lead America, but won't or Don't have the courage to cast a vote in favor of "English" as America's Official Language when 91% of American Citizens want English officially designated as our language.
This is the second time in the last several months this list of Senators have disgraced themselves as "policitalHacks"...... Unworthy as Senators and certainly unqualified to serve as President of the United States.
If America is as angry as I am, you will realize a backlash so stunning it will literally "rock you out of your panties"......... And preferably totally out of the United States Senate.
The entire immigration bill is a farce... Your action only confirms this really isn't about is about self-serving politics......despicable at best. It has been said:"Never Argue with an Idiot....They'll drag you down to their level!"
The following Senators voted against making English the official language Of America:
Akaka (D-HI)
Bayh (D-IN)
Biden (D-DE) (Wants to be President)
Bingaman (D-NM)
Boxer (D-CA)

Domenici (R-NM) coward. Protecting his senate seat
Durbin (D-IL)
Feingold (D-win) - not unusual for him
Feinstein (D-ca)

Inouye (D-hi
)Jeffords (I-VT)
Kennedy - (D-ma)
Kerry (D-ma) (tried to be president)

It's Starting to Unravel

I have been beating back the throng of Global Warming for years. It sure was a relief to see the dragon turn and bite at itself. Now that the NYT has published a column about the falsehood of global warming, others who coward under their desk will finally crawl out and make statements.
The science isn't there and the data isn't there. It is high time we shove this aside and stop wasting time and money on this fools errand. Tell Al Gore to sit down and shut up. His mountain of lies and fear mongering can now come to a stop.
The world is starting to realize the great hoax played on them. The money wasted while other real causes went unfulfilled. Al Gore may one day be the Benedict Arnold of the world.

Stay On Offense

The big issue should be the War On Terror. Many would have you believe we are losing when the opposite is actually true. The enemy has taken every opportunity to remind us that our destruction in their greatest desire. Why more Americans don't take this seriously amazes me.
The war has suddenly changed to Pakistan, and now we are told that is a sign of expansion. The fact is it is a sign of reduction. The enemy has had to pull back to their base of operations. It has been no secret that the leaders of those against us are on the border territory between Afghanistan and Pakistan. President Musharraf of Pakistan has only recently been made aware of how serious these people are to take this nation.

Read this and consider what is really happening that keeps us safe.

We Need To See Some Fire

How can someone draw interest and followers without displaying some energy and vitality? Thompson seems to have the right things to say yet inspiration is lacking. Show a little energy! This nation is on the edge. We need a serious candidate that knows how to inspire and motivate a nation. We need a real communicator that knows how to bring people to his side of the argument. We need a motivator that encourages people to action. We need a defender who sees the enemy and is not afraid to take action. We need a leader who can make tough decisions and stand on them.
Fred, can you be that guy? Good-ol-boy posturing isn't going to cut it.

Iowa and New Hampshire may initiate the political process but this is a big nation with big problems. The whole nation is watching. You need to win hearts and minds from shore to shore everyday. If you want to be the candidate Mr. Thompson you need to get it together.
